In celebration of it being Friday the 13th, the Action Figures showcase is the unstoppable killing machine Jason Voorhees, from Mezco, based on his appearance in Friday the 13th Part 3.
Released in the Cinema of Fear Series 4, the Part 3 Jason Voorhees is a pretty sweet looking figure. When compared to previous Mezco releases, the figure is a little lacking on the accessories. He comes with a machete, axe, alternate head that can fit the axe and a hacked off arm. As you can tell, not overflowing with accessories, but comes with the necessary ones. Articulation is the same as accessories, as in not as much as before, but adequate. No squatting ninja poses, but a perfect 'I'm going to chop you up' pose can be obtained. Paint could be better, as the mask doesn't match up exactly to the film. Sculpt on the other hand is excellent, as you will see in the photos below.
As with all other Mezco Jason releases, good luck trying to find this one for cheap. If you do happen upon it for a good price, snatch it up. It's an excellent representation of Part 3 Jason Voorhees.
