A Nightmare on Elm Street Series 3: Dream Warriors Freddy

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET

It feels good to be back and I do apologize for the extended delay in posting anything awesome. That's over now and to celebrate, I present you a nightmare of an action figure, the Dream Warriors Freddy Krueger, from A Nightmare on Elm Street Series 3. Freddy's offering us up a nice drug and you better be ready to take it...

The Dreams Warriors Freddy from Series 3, is most definitely different from the previous Dream Warriors Freddy figure. This time, the figure is based off his quick appearance in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, sporting the needle fingers. It's an iconic look for sure and a sweet looking piece. The figure comes with an alternate head, with a light up cross feature (see below photos) and sadly the sculpt is lacking and doesn't look much like Robert Englund, a hat and finally a marionette Freddy, as seen in Part 3, which has articulation in the neck and shoulders. As for the rest of the sculpt, the legs are the same as the other Freddy's in the series, which is just disappointing. As I've mentioned before, I'm spoiled by the wonderful articulation in the Jason Voorhees series of figures. Other articulation included are: neck, shoulders, elbows, wrist and ankles. Lastly, only one thing can be said on the paint work, excellent.

What else can be said for this awesome Freddy? The sculpt might be hurting the overall value a little, but besides that small problem, the figure is a no-brainer. A definite pickup in my book. Now for the photos to convince you!
