Friday the 13th Series 2: The Final Chapter Jason Voorhees (Battle Damaged)

- FRIDAY THE 13TH -

Round two and sadly the final figure in the Friday the 13th Series 2. The Final Chapter Jason Voorhees comes at us in battle damaged form and honestly, it isn't much different than the regular version. A few splashes of blood here and there and a movie accurate mask, that resembles the end look. The coolest thing about this figure, is the unmasked face, with the deep gash on his side, that allows the bloody machete to fit in it, recreating the classic death scene. Let's hack this showcase apart by reading on...

Release: 2012
Series: Friday the 13th Series 2
Company: NECA
Accessories: Double Headed Axe, Machete
Articulation: Ball joint Head, Shoulders, Elbows, Wrist, Waist, Hips, Knees, Ankles

If you didn't already notice, I made a mistake in my last showcase, with The Final Chapter Jason Voorhees (Regular) figure and thought the Double Headed Axe came with that guy and the Bloody Kitchen Knife with this guy. I was wrong in thinking that (blame it on opening figures before taking photos). So, the photos below on this showcase and the other, are using the wrong accessories, but in the end it doesn't matter, as Jason looks good no matter what weapon he is brandishing.

As I said before, the Battle Damaged Jason Voorhees is a hard sell, if you already own the other guy in the series. The differences are minimal, but the added bonus of having the machete wound head, more than makes up for the lack of differences. (All we need now is a Tommy Jarvis figure!) Everything I said before on the last figure is the same here (although, my mask has a small defect, with one strap sticking out too much): great articulation, great paint work and overall, amazing figure! If I was to nitpick one thing, it would be the lack of damage to his left hand (a machete went through it near the end of the film). It's a small nitpick, but still, if you want to be accurate, you gotta go the whole way!
